Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Knight (ranked 5564 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Joseph (ranked 5486 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antoine Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Joseph! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph moves into the clinch successfully.
Joseph's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Joseph buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Joseph fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Knight throws a big counter combination but Joseph scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Knight takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Joseph avoids the head kick by Knight.

It looks like Antoine Knight has been cut. Joseph misses with the combination.
Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Joseph. Joseph gets slowly back to his feet. A swing and a miss from Knight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight taking a breather. Joseph lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Knight backwards. Knight stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Joseph fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knight avoids it really well and circles away.

and Knight counters into the clinch. Nicely done. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Joseph takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Joseph stalling the fight.
Joseph is pressed up against the cage. Knight has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Joseph down to the mat. Joseph avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A combination from Knight does no damage. Joseph closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knight to the mat! Knight manages to get full guard. Knight wriggles free and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight stuffs the takedown attempt from Joseph. Joseph gets slowly back to his feet. Joseph looks winded! Knight looks to land a combination but Joseph avoids it well. Joseph will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knight lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joseph circles away quickly and effectively. No luck with that takedown attempt from Knight. Knight looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Knight is looking to clinch. Joseph works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight drops back, looking for a kneebar! Joseph looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Joseph looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Joseph! Joseph tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joseph wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Knight, who protects the arm well. Joseph decides to stand up, so the ref orders Knight to his feet. Joseph has Knight up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Joseph wants to break free but Knight has control.
Knight prevents Joseph from breaking the clinch. Joseph scores with an uppercut up the middle. Knight tries to score a body lock takedown but Joseph shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Joseph throws an elbow that misses.

The Joseph seems to be getting the better of the standup. Knight gets tackled into the cage by Joseph. Joseph maintains the clinch. Joseph tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The Joseph showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Antoine Knight's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Knight is rocked! Joseph won't allow Knight to sweep him here. Oh Knight is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Joseph cracks Knight with a solid left hand. Joseph postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Knight covers up, he's hurt! Joseph keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Joseph and the ref steps in to end the fight! Joseph can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
