Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Burt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers clinches up against the cage. Burt really is a fat lump. Rogers working some nice short punches in the clinch. Rogers misses with a punch to the body.
Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rogers gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rogers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Burt tries to keep at a distance but Rogers has taken the fight into the clinch. Rogers tries a body shot but Burt blocks it.
Burt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burt gets tackled into the cage by Rogers. Rogers maintains the clinch. Burt working hard to break the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Rogers.

Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rogers moves into range and clinches up with Burt.

Rogers keeps control of Burt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Burt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rogers moves into the clinch. Rogers leaning against his opponent.

Rogers closes the distance and clinches. Rogers is working Burt over against the cage. Burt is breathing heavily. Rogers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rogers moves into the clinch. Rogers can't find room to land a body shot as Burt controls the action.
Rogers misses with a knee to the head. Burt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rogers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burt tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Burt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rogers closes the distance and clinches. Burt wants to get back to striking at distance but Rogers won't allow it.
Rogers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rogers napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rogers is trying to buck Burt off. Burt controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burt stands up. Rogers rushes Burt and presses him up against the cage. Burt is trying to break free. Rogers misses with a body punch.
Burt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Burt darts in looking for a takedown but Rogers gets double underhooks and turns Burt into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Burt, pushing him back against the cage. Burt wants to get back to striking at distance but Rogers won't allow it.
Rogers breaks from the clinch.
Burt dodges the punch combination from Rogers.
Burt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Rogers manages to circle out of the way. Rogers clinches up against the cage. Burt manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Rogers. Rogers is looking for the big counter here. Rogers moves into range and clinches up with Burt. Rogers lands a good knee to the midsection. Burt won't want to take too many of those. Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Rogers dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rogers has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rogers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Rogers is working Burt over against the cage. Burt tries to break free but Rogers pushes him back against the cage. Burt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Rogers comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rogers pushes Burt up against the cage in a clinch. Rogers turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rogers manages to end up in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogers lands a decent elbow from side control. Rogers in side control lands a decent elbow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rogers controls the position. Rogers has knee on belly and moves into mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rogers with a couple of short strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers working the ground and pound effectively.

Rogers controlling the pace for now. Rogers with shots to the head and body - Burt looks very uncomfortable down there. Rogers trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burt can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Burt looks a forlorn figure.
Rogers controlling his opponent. Rogers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Burt is in a horrible position here. Rogers smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rogers working for a guillotine from mount but Burt is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rogers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burt's face.
Rogers trying to control but Burt is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rogers cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rogers cracks Burt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Steve Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far. Burt taking shots to the head. Rogers loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Burt scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rogers land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rogers stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Rogers!
