Rogers turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rogers manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rogers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Burt looks a forlorn figure.

Burt is in a horrible position here. Rogers smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Rogers lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rogers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burt's face.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rogers cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rogers cracks Burt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Steve Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rogers loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Burt scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rogers land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rogers stands and salutes the crowd.
