Arruda comes to the cage accompanied by False Pretense. Gabriel Hartman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartman tries to clinch there but Arruda circles away.
Hartman clinches up against the cage.
Hartman tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hartman working aggressively here.
Hartman lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hartman scores with an uppercut up the middle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hartman.
Hartman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Arruda drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Arruda.
Arruda jumps guard but Hartman stands there with Arruda around his waist. Arruda gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hartman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hartman lands a hook that snaps the head of Arruda backwards.

Hartman lands a left hand.
Oh Arruda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hartman dips a shoulder and cracks Arruda with a mighty uppercut! Arruda falls back against the cage and Hartman unloads with a barrage of strikes! Arruda is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hartman screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabriel Hartman!
