Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Torhammer (ranked 2487 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 2838 p4p, 0 weight class). Torhammer comes to the cage accompanied by Doom Unit - Killing Time. Freddy White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Henrik Torhammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 22 - 4, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torhammer darts in looking for a takedown but White gets double underhooks and turns Torhammer into the cage. Horrible takedown attempt by Torhammer or perhaps it was just good defense by White, which made it look bad. Torhammer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Torhammer finishes the takedown easily into guard. White wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Torhammer manages to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torhammer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, White has managed to free his arm - good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torhammer is just content to waste time from the top position. White takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torhammer wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Torhammer sitting in guard, not really doing much. Torhammer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Torhammer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and White dives on top into guard. White won't allow Torhammer to sweep him here. White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Torhammer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. White stands and steps away. Torhammer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. White has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Torhammer shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Torhammer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henrik Torhammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. White scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A slow jab from White misses its intended target. White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Torhammer on the side of the head.
It looks like Henrik Torhammer has been cut. White stuffs the takedown. White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. Torhammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torhammer off to one side. Freddy White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. White connects with a leg kick. Torhammer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A head kick misses from White.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torhammer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but White defends well and Torhammer ends up having to push White into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Torhammer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Torhammer is keen to just control but White is a slippery customer. Torhammer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Torhammer is taking a breather. White says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Torhammer thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.
Torhammer wants to control but White is keeping him busy. Torhammer wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torhammer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but White sees it coming and defends easily. Torhammer seems to be working for a kimura but White defends the submission attempt. Torhammer is trying to control the action in half guard but White is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Torhammer seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Torhammer is trying to control. White wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. White wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy White dominated that round. The cut man is working on Henrik Torhammer's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Torhammer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Torhammer walks into a jab. Torhammer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. White misses with a double jab.
White throws a leg kick that is checked and Torhammer counters with a head kick. That will keep White thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! No luck for Torhammer with that takedown attempt. Freddy White seems to be getting the better of the standup. Torhammer fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henrik Torhammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torhammer shoots and misses and White counters with a two punch combo. Torhammer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short uppercut from White. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for White. Torhammer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Torhammer slips a jab and a cross from White.
White gets caught napping as Torhammer dives in and scores a takedown. White manages to retain guard. Torhammer lands a couple of elbows. White is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. White keeping moving, preventing Torhammer from controlling successfully. White has been the more effective fighter overall so far. White can't keep his opponent in guard - Torhammer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torhammer throwing shots but White is blocking nicely. White wants to stand back up but Torhammer manages to pass into side control.
Torhammer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there. Torhammer trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom. Torhammer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torhammer wants to control but White is keeping him busy. Torhammer swings around for an armbar but White sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Torhammer's guard. Torhammer has control of White's left arm, preventing White from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Torhammer is trying to hold White in close to prevent damage but White has managed to pass into half guard.
Torhammer is looking to improve his position.

An inside leg kick lands from White. Torhammer seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Torhammer shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Torhammer shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense. White feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Torhammers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Torhammer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henrik Torhammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. White throws a nice outside leg kick. White fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Torhammer is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torhammer misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Torhammer has his takedown stuffed and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. White turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torhammer shoots in but no luck this time. It seemed like White was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Torhammer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. White connects with a leg kick. Torhammer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. White drops Torhammer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Torhammer looks back up at him and smiles so White waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Torhammer is rocked! Torhammer walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from White! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Freddy White! A relieved looking Freddy White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
