Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Laraque!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laraque throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A low kick from Laraque misses
and Skitto counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Georges Laraque has been cut.
Laraque throws a lazy head kick
and Skitto counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Laraque thinking.
Skitto scores with a body shot.
Skitto moves in looking to clinch but Laraque pushes him off.
Skitto drives through with a takedown into Laraque's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Laraque has control of Skitto's left arm, preventing Skitto from doing any damage.

Skitto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Laraque has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Skitto has managed to get both his arms back between Laraque's legs - danger averted.
Skitto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Laraque is proving hard to escape from.

Laraque takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skitto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Laraque - the referee stops the clock and Skitto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Laraque. Skitto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Skitto lands with a nice body punch.
A head kick misses from Laraque.
Skitto tries to clinch up.
Skitto cracks the inside of Laraque's front leg.
Georges Laraque is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Skitto tries to clinch up but Laraque circles away and keeps his distance.
Laraque throws out a leg kick but Skitto moves out of range and Laraque only half commits.
Skitto lands a head shot.
Skitto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Laraque's guard.
Laraque looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Skitto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Skitto tries to stand but Laraque is controlling from the bottom.
Laraque looking to hit a scissor sweep but Skitto is one step ahead there.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Laraque tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Laraque throws a nice looking combination but Skitto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laraque throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Skitto dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Laraque looks winded!
Oooooh!!! Skitto has knocked Laraque down with a huge combo! Skitto steps away and waves a wobbly Laraque back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Laraque is rocked!
Skitto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skitto throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Skitto connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Laraque to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Skitto!
