Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Jack (ranked 2058 p4p, 226 weight class) and Alan Moore (ranked 2227 p4p, 239 weight class). Jack comes to the cage accompanied by The Legend of Billy Jack. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Moore!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jack. That did some damage!
Moore moves away from the strike by Jack.
A little jabbing left from Moore on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jack scores with a jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jack.
Jack falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Moore to counter with a crisp jab.
Jack throws out a loose jab but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moore uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Moore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jack throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it.

Jack moves into the clinch.
Moore is looking to break free of the clinch but Jack has double underhooks.
Jack softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Jack struggles to land a body shot inside as Moore controls his hands.
Moore misses with some punches.
Jack working aggressively here.
A frustrated look appears on Moore's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jack makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
I was talking to Jack's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moore presses Jack against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Moore has a couple of punches blocked by Jack.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Moore.
Moore lands an uppercut.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Moore.
Jack misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jack throws a punch but it's blocked by Moore.
Jack tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Moore blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A hook to the body from Moore.
Jack tries to throw a body punch but Moore avoids it by throwing Jack back against the cage.
Jack lands a body shot in the clinch.
Jack lands with a right to the head.
Moore lands a nice uppercut.
Moore has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Jack seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Moore can turn it around.

Moore breaks from the clinch.
Jack thows a leg kick but Moore checks it
and Moore counters with a three punch combo that has Jack backing up. Jack nods at Moore to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jack doesn't manage to clinch there - Moore circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moore! But no joy.
Jack connects with a body shot that sends Moore's belly button to the back.
Jack misses with a low kick.
Moore looks for the body kick but Jack saw that one coming.

A big right from Jack misses.

Jack rushes Moore and presses him up against the cage.
Jack misses with the head strike.

Jack has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Moore is trying to keep an underhook but Jack manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Moore tries to get to full guard but Jack has control of the leg.
Moore wants to control but Jack is keeping busy.
Moore moves into full guard.
Jack with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jack wants to pass the guard but Moore is keeping the position.
Jack trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Moore is trying to hold Jack in close to prevent damage but Jack has managed to pass into half guard.
Jack missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Moore keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Moore tries to roll over but Jack keeps him under control.
Jack throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jack perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jack is keen to just control but Moore is a slippery customer.

Moore makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Moore.

Jack throwing strikes from guard but Moore blocks nicely.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Moore is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A clash of legs there as Moore blocks the low kick.
Billy Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moore.
The fighters circling - Moore throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jack tries to work over Moore's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Moore tries to break free but Jack pushes him back against the cage.

Moore chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jack can pounce on him.

Moore doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Jack misses with an uppercut. Moore saw that one coming.
Moore throws out a counter right but Jack avoids it with no problem.
Jack is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moore can do to turn this around?
Moore throws a big shot that misses.
Jack drops down looking for a counter takedown but Moore sprawls and moves away.
Jack wants to slow Moore down by chopping away at his legs.

The fighters circling - Moore throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Moore takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.

Jack feints and then cracks Moore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moore down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jack throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Moore is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

and Moore counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jack throws a right hand that misses
and Moore counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jack.
Jack trying to control the action but Moore is working from the bottom.
Moore tries to improve position but can't.
Moore prevents Jack from moving into mount.
An elbow from Jack crashes against the mat.
Moore is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jack is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moore has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jack in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Moore tries to bench press Jack off him but Jack keeps the position.
Jack working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Moore gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Jack dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jack misses with a left hand
and Moore makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A jab lands there for Moore.
Jack connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.
Moore throws the kick towards the body but Jack avoids it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Moore.
Moore misses with a double jab.
Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moore circles away quickly and effectively.
Jack takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moore counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jack is looking to clinch but Moore is avoiding it.
As Jack backs off Moore throws a huge counter combo but Jack manages to avoid it all.
Nice shot by Moore.


Jack is rocked!
Moore feints and then cracks Jack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jack down.
Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moore throws a pinpoint strike between Jack's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Jack crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Moore scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alan Moore!
Alan Moore seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Billy Jack was interviewed post fight and said 'My manager says that if I have a granite chin, don't cut easily, and my moral doesn't drop too much, he'll keep me around. Otherwise, I'm out of here.'.
