Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Moses (ranked 25043 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Ruth (ranked 25084 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moses on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Moses misses with a takedown attempt - Ruth sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ruth moves into range and clinches up with Moses.
Moses really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ruth looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Moses tries to land knees in the clinch but Ruth avoids the damage to the body.
Ruth has hold of one of Moses's legs. Moses is fighting the takedown attempt but Ruth gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ruth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moses swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ruth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moses was covering up waiting for the punch and Ruth finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ruth stands and steps away. Moses gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Moses has his foot on Ruth's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ruth works his way back into a safe position though.

Ruth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ruth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ruth has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Moses is trying to control Ruth's posture but Ruth avoids it.
Ruth remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Ruth wants to stand but Moses is controlling his arm.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Moses manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Still in half guard, Ruth seems content to control.
Moses wants to control but Ruth is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Ruth fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moses, pushing him back against the cage.
Ruth gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Moses regains guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Moses manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Hank Ruth is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Moses jumps guard but Ruth stands there with Moses around his waist. Moses gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Moses wants to stall.

Well Ruth has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
