Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mackin roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Bravo or perhaps it was just good defense by roe which made him look bad.
roe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
roe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bravo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. roe sprawls well initially but Bravo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bravo blocks the strikes from roe.
Bravo seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, roe has managed to free his arm - good work.

No joy there for roe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bravo shoots for a double leg takedown but roe sprawls well. He's pushed Bravo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bravo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around roe's waist but roe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bravo off to one side.
mackin roe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Bravo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bravo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
