Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Greene (ranked 2462 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Irhin (ranked 2727 p4p, 0 weight class). Greene comes to the cage accompanied by Oakland. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hunter Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Artem Irhin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greene drives through and clinches with Irhin against the cage.
Greene tries to pull guard but Irhin holds him up against the cage and eventually Greene drops back down to his feet.

Irhin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Irhin lands a head shot.


It looks like Hunter Greene has been cut.
Hunter Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene misses with a body shot.
A punch combination from Greene misses.
Greene misses with a wild combination.
Greene gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Irhin.
Greene misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Greene shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Irhin as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Greene. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Greene walks into a jab.
Greene shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Irhin defends it nicely.

Greene shoots in and gets a takedown into Irhin's guard.

Irhin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Greene's guard.


Greene working for submissions but it's allowed Irhin to get to half guard.

Greene slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Irhin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Greene can't keep his opponent in guard - Irhin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Irhin controlling the action here.

Greene wants to control the action here but instead Irhin manages to pass to full mount!
Greene is wriggling around trying to escape.
Greene looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Irhin looking to control and managing it successfully.
Irhin moves to the back.
Irhin keeps control of the position as Greene tries to break free.
Irhin controlling the position well here. Greene rolled but Irhin kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
I really don't envy Greene right now.

What can Greene do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Irhin is hanging on to Greene's back as he tries to escape.
Greene is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Irhin is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Greene is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's time! Greene's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Irhin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Greene fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Irhin manages to avoid it.
Donk. Irhin catches Greene right on the button with a cross.
Greene tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Irhin lands a jab.
Greene takes a jab right on the kisser.
Greene doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Irhin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Greene in his tracks.
Irhin tests Greene's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Irhin connects with a right hand. Greene shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Greene is defended easily by Irhin.
Greene is looking to clinch but Irhin is avoiding it.
Irhin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Irhin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Greene drives through with a takedown into guard.

Greene is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Irhin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Greene manages to get himself to full guard.

Irhin is pushing down on Greene's leg trying to pass to half guard. Greene is fighting to maintain full guard but Irhin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Irhin is looking to advance position but Greene won't allow it.
Greene is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Greene flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Greene tries to get to full guard but Irhin has control of the leg.
Irhin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Greene looking for submissions off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Greene fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Irhin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nice jab there from Greene.

Irhin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Greene in his tracks.
Irhin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Irhin lands a left and a right that send Greene crashing to the mat, dazed. Irhin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Greene is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Irhin connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Greene covering up! Irhin comes in with a big uppercut and Greene goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Artem Irhin!
Artem Irhin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Hunter Greene was interviewed post fight and said 'i'll be back, God has a plan and tonight his plan was for my ass to get kicked. I'm going to pray and train like a Tibetan monk...'.
