Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Winfred Dillard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Braun Strowman!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strowman misses with a head kick.
Strowman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Strowman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dillard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Strowman is in Dillard's guard.
Dillard wants to stand up but Strowman is controlling him.
Strowman trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dillard is working Strowman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dillard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Dillard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Strowman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dillard is nestled in close to Strowman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dillard slips a nice elbow through Strowman's hands, connecting with Strowman's forehead.
Dillard looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dillard is taking a breather. Strowman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dillard lands with a punch from half guard.
Dillard is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Still in half guard, Dillard seems content to control.
Dillard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dillard darts in looking for a takedown but Strowman gets double underhooks and turns Dillard into the cage.

Dillard ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dillard no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
