Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Vanna (ranked 21076 p4p, 587 weight class) and Casper Alvbris (ranked 4218 p4p, 414 weight class). Alvbris comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slayer - Bloodline kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marcin Vanna could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Casper Alvbris's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Vanna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Casper Alvbris! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvbris shoots in looking for a takedown. Vanna tries to sprawl out of it but Alvbris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vanna manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Alvbris scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Vanna isn't going anywhere. Alvbris grinds an elbow into Vanna's temple. Alvbris trying to control the position but Vanna is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvbris working the head and body with strikes. Vanna being controlled for a moment. Alvbris stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alvbris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Alvbris lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vanna has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vanna and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vanna fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Alvbris shoots for a takedown but Vanna saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Marcin Vanna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casper Alvbris. Alvbris tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Vanna counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Vanna is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanna wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alvbris keeps working. Alvbris tries to get to full guard but Vanna has control of the leg. Alvbris looking for submissions off his back. Vanna is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Alvbris is just riding it out for now. Vanna eventually gives up the hold. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvbris looking for submissions off his back. Vanna sitting and controlling from the half guard. Alvbris is trying to control but can't.
Alvbris felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Alvbris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vanna pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vanna is taking a breather. Alvbris says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vanna's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alvbris shoots and misses and Vanna moves into the clinch. Vanna avoiding damage as Alvbris throws knees to the body.
Alvbris trying to control the position but instead, Vanna has worked for underhooks and has pushed Alvbris into the cage. Alvbris tries for a takedown but Vanna manages to get underhooks.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alvbris is looking to control Vanna's arms but Vanna gets an underhook and turns him. Now Alvbris has his back to the cage. Vanna ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vanna no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marcin Vanna will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Alvbris misses with a takedown and Vanna counters with a one-two to the body. Alvbris fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Alvbris throws a right hand that Vanna ducks under and follows up with a left that Vanna also avoids with ease. Vanna pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Alvbris.

Vanna appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Marcin Vanna is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Alvbris scores with a four punch combination! Casper Alvbris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vanna fails with an attempt to clinch.

Alvbris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vanna but Vanna pushes him off and we're back to square one. Vanna appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Vanna swats away the attempt to clinch by Alvbris.

Alvbris tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vanna defends well and Alvbris ends up having to push Vanna into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Alvbris loads up on a big right hand but Vanna slips the punch. Alvbris misses with a takedown attempt - Vanna sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Alvbris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vanna's waist but Vanna gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvbris off to one side. Alvbris darts in looking for a takedown but Vanna gets double underhooks and turns Alvbris into the cage. As Alvbris tries to get set, Vanna tries to push him back and clinch up but Alvbris manages to avoid the attempt. Alvbris tries a head kick but it misses.
Vanna feinted with a counter takedown. Decent striking displayed by Alvbris there. Alvbris darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vanna wants to control but Alvbris is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vanna works his way to full guard. Good work. Vanna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alvbris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alvbris manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vanna is controlling Alvbris's posture. Alvbris postures up.
Alvbris is looking to work some ground and pound but Vanna has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vanna is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alvbris with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Vanna utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Casper Alvbris has got the better of the ground game so far. Alvbris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vanna is keeping the position for now. Alvbris wants to control from the top but Vanna keeps moving. Alvbris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vanna has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alvbris has managed to get both his arms back between Vanna's legs - danger averted. Vanna keeping full guard, as Alvbris tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Vanna controls Alvbris momentarily but Alvbris frees himself.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Vanna tries to sprawl but Alvbris drives through with a takedown into half guard. Alvbris stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Vanna to get to his feet. Vanna blocks a jab. Vanna feinted with a counter takedown. Vanna instigates a clinch. A knee to the head by Alvbris.
Vanna is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Alvbris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Casper Alvbris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Vanna takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Alvbris misses with a takedown attempt and Vanna counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Alvbris! Alvbris is looking to regain half guard here but Vanna keeps moving and retains side control. Alvbris wants to control but Vanna postures up. Vanna blocks the strikes from Alvbris.
You can see the frustration on Alvbris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Alvbris is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vanna is staying active. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vanna wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alvbris, who protects the arm well. Alvbris manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vanna wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alvbris keeps working. Alvbris tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Vanna has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Alvbris is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Vanna moves to the back. Vanna controls the position. Vanna has his arm under Alvbris's chin here. Game over son! Vanna squeezes tightly and Alvbris is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcin Vanna! Jumping up and down and very excited, Marcin Vanna waved his t-shirt featuring KAISER Nutrition - Q160's logo in front of the cameras.
