Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foote lands a slapping body shot.
Foote gets the takedown into side control.
Foote trying to control the action but Boranbayev is working from the bottom.
Foote taking a breather here.
Foote connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Boranbayev some visible discomfort.
Boranbayev is not content to let Foote control the position.
You can see the frustration on Boranbayev's face as Foote controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boranbayev is looking to regain half guard here but Foote keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foote trying to control the position but Boranbayev is working away.
Foote sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boranbayev is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

An elbow from Foote crashes against the mat.
Boranbayev is not content to let Foote control the position.
Boranbayev is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Foote scores with a couple of short elbows.
Foote cracks Boranbayev with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Boranbayev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foote on the ground.
Foote is working to tighten his grip on Boranbayev's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Boranbayev has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Foote is really squeezing tight and eventually Boranbayev passes out! Foote breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
