Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serious Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serious Sam has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Serious Sam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sam shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sam looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Doe takes the fight into the clinch. Doe tries to score a body lock takedown but Sam shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Doe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sam prevents it.
Doe has Sam pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sam manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Serious Sam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Doe. Doe is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sam utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Doe throwing strikes but missing. Sam preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Doe throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Doe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sam fails to land the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe tries for a takedown but Sam circles away easily and Sam counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sam. Sam passes into half guard. Doe is pressing down on Sam's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Doe throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Horrible takedown by Doe or perhaps it was just good defense by Sam which made him look bad. Sam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sam lands in his opponent's guard. Doe wants to sweep here but Sam controlling him for the moment. Doe tries to strike from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Serious Sam will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Doe with a lazy takedown attempt and Sam counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sam is looking to take a break and control but Doe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Doe stalks Sam and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sam's face. Sam staggers backwards, shaken. Nice sprawl there from Sam as Doe shoots in. Doe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
