Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Andreas (ranked 7228 p4p, 535 weight class) and Andre Valentino (ranked 3688 p4p, 395 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Will Andreas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Valentino!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentino swings for the body but Andreas moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Valentino has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Valentino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good exchange - Valentino coming out on top.
Valentino cracks Andreas with a good jab.
Andreas fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Andreas walks into a jab.
Valentino connects with a single shot there.
Valentino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Andreass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Andreas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valentino tries to avoid it but Andreas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valentino to the ground. Valentino escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andreas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Andreas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Andreas really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Valentino has control of Andreas's left arm, preventing Andreas from doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andreas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Andreas maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Valentino could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Andreas has cracked it and Valentino is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Andreas!
