And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Waddle!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ralboa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Waddle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ralboa avoids it really well and circles away.
Waddle is looking to chop away at Ralboa's legs.
Ralboa looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Ralboa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Waddle.
Waddle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bocky Ralboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Waddle.
Ralboa misses with a two punch combination.
Ralboa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Waddle is looking to clinch but Ralboa is avoiding it.
Waddle staying out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ralboa misses with a series of wild punches.

Waddle moves in looking to clinch but Ralboa pushes him off.

Waddle takes the fight into the clinch.

Ralboa breaks from the clinch.
Ralboa fails to land with a series of punches.
Waddle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ralboa closes the distance and clinches.
Ralboa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Waddle gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ralboa is looking for a takedown.

Waddle jumps into guard, dragging Ralboa to the mat.
Ralboa throwing strikes but missing.
Waddle working a defensive guard here.

Waddle has control of Ralboa's left arm, preventing Ralboa from doing any damage.
Waddle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Waddle striking off his back but it's not causing Ralboa any problems.
Ralboa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ralboa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Waddle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Waddle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ralboa manages to get himself to full guard.

Waddle wants to stand but Ralboa has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ralboa wants to improve his position but instead Waddle has moved into half guard.
Waddle wants to take a breather but Ralboa is having none of it.
Ralboa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ralboa trying to hold on to Waddle's head to control him but Waddle postures up.
Ralboa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ralboa tries to get out of the position.
Waddle throwing shots but Ralboa is blocking nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Waddle thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Waddle in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ralboa tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Waddle!
