Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Shorton (ranked 408 p4p, 47 weight class) and Mika Allu (ranked 699 p4p, 81 weight class). Mika Allu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Shorton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mika Allu! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shorton connects with a looping right hand.
We've been told by Shorton's head coaches at Assface Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Allu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shorton as he avoids it easily. Allu dives in and grabs Shorton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shorton pushes down on Allu's head and hops out. Shorton is looking to counter punch. Shorton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A left lands for Shorton. A slow jab from Shorton misses its intended target. Shorton loads up on a big right hand but Allu slips the punch. Allu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Shorton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Allu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Shorton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Allu walks into a left hand. Shorton looks to score with a jab to the body but Allu is just out of range. Shorton misses with a straight left. Shorton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allu manages to avoid it. Bill Shorton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shorton moves away. Shorton throws an off balance right hand
and Shorton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Allu looks for a takedown but Shorton sprawls well. Bill Shorton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mika Allu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Shorton. Those never looked like landing. And Allu tries to counter it with a takedown but Shorton pushes his down on his head and steps out. Shorton misses with a series of wild punches.
A big left from Shorton misses. Jab from Allu. Allu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Shorton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Shorton wants to control but Allu is keeping busy.
Allu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Allu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Allu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Shorton is holding on to half guard well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Allu lands with a punch from half guard. Shorton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Allu content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Shorton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shorton trying to control the position here. Allu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Allu throws a strike but Shorton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Shorton wants to stand but Allu has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Shorton trying to control the position from guard on top but Allu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shorton is really struggling to control Allu but he's trying to hold on to the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Allu is on top in guard.
Shorton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Allu scoring with some ground and pound. Allu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shorton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shorton can't keep his opponent in guard - Allu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Allu lands a nice short elbow. Allu passes the guard and advances to mount! Oooooh, big shot lands for Allu! Shorton is hurt baaadly! Allu is firing away with more strikes - Shorton is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mika Allu!
