Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Matt Dingo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Reed! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dingo throws a wild body kick that Reed sees coming a mile off. Dingo lands a slapping body shot.
Dingo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reed. Reed shoots in and drives through. Dingo sprawls well. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Reed drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dingo gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dingo pushes Reed off looking to stand but Reed dives back in and keeps control.
Reed trying to mount his opponent but Dingo defends it. Dingo tries to kick Reed off but Reed keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dingo manages to escape and get back to his feet! Dingo lands a jab-cross combination. Dingo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Reed scores with a takedown into Dingo's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reed is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingo wants to stand up but Reed is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed wants to control from the top but Dingo keeps moving. Dingo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dingo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Reed throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dingo looking for a sweep. Not yet Dingo, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reed shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Reed was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Reed trying to control but Dingo is having none of it. Dingo taking shots to the head. Reed wants to finish this one by submission but Dingo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Reed. Dingo can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Reed there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Reed unloads with some shots from mount but Dingo bucks and avoids them well.
Dingo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dingo is trying to escape the mount.
Dingo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Dingo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Reed is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dingo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Reed swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dingo is now in Reed's guard. A big mistake from Reed there, giving up the dominant position!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Reed is looking for a triangle here but Dingo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Reed has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dingo is looking to take a break and control but Reed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Billy Reed will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dingo connects with a single shot there. Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Dingo sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Reed fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Reed scores with a takedown into Dingo's guard. Reed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dingo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dingo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dingo! Dingo is trying to get an arm triangle but Reed is defending well. Dingo tries to stand but Reed is controlling his head. Dingo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reed keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Reed tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dingo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Reed tries to buck Dingo off but Dingo is having none of it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Reed tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dingo swivels and escapes. Matt Dingo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. Dingo lands with an overhand left. Billy Reed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reed fails with the takedown. Reed is breathing heavily. Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Dingo sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dingo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dingo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reed darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dingo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dingo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dingo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reed's guard. Dingo sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dingo wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. Dingo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Reed feints and as Dingo raises his hands in defense, Reed changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dingo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dingo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dingo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dingo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dingo! Reed tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed is being controlled here. Reed manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Reed is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dingo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dingo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Dingo slows the pace down. Dingo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reed to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Dingo dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Dingo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Horrible takedown by Reed or perhaps it was just good defense by Dingo which made him look bad. Reed on the wrong end of a nice hook. A head kick from Dingo lands but Reed takes it in his stride. Reed takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dingo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reed fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Matt Dingo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. Reed misses with a takedown attempt - Dingo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dingo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Reed has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A combination from Dingo does no damage. Dingo gets a clinch. Dingo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dingo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dingo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Reed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dingo cracks Reed with an open hand slap. Dingo connects with the punch. Reed takes one to the chin there. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dingo - that will leave a mark!
Dingo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dingo throws out a powerful jab. Reed walks into a stiff left hand from Dingo. Dingo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Dingo closes the distance and pushes Reed back into the cage. Dingo manages to break the clinch.
A left lands for Dingo. Reed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dingo circles away. Billy Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dingo closes the distance and clinches. Dingo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dingo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Reed has him pressed against the cage. Dingo wants to break free but Reed has control.

Dingo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dingo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Reed looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dingo connects with a looping right hand.
Reed tries to keep at a distance but Dingo has taken the fight into the clinch. Dingo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Reed takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Reed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dingo is fending him off so far but Reed persists. Nope, Dingo circles away and we're back to standing. Dingo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dingo lands with a straight right. Reed didn't see that one coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dingo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dingo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed scores a takedown into full mount! Reed jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dingo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dingo and Reed has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dingo struggling a bit here. Reed in side control, throwing shots but Dingo defends. Dingo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Reed is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dingo tries to lock up and control but Reed gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed trying to control but Dingo is having none of it. Reed goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dingo is on top in guard.
Dingo stands and throws Reed's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dingo decides to stand back up. Dingo steps back and let's Reed get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Dingo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dingo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
