Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bungle Davis (ranked 5169 p4p, 192 weight class) and Mister Kipling (ranked 3300 p4p, 148 weight class). Davis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Working Class Hero. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bungle Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mister Kipling!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Kipling there.

Davis forces Kipling back against the cage and clinches.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Davis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Davis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kipling's elbow.
Davis misses with a punch to the body.
Davis misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kipling blocking some punches.

Kipling pulls guard effortlessly.

Kipling has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.
Davis wants to stand but Kipling has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kipling tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis is looking to stand up but Kipling won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kipling not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kipling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kipling looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kipling looking for a sweep. Not yet Kipling, not yet.
Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kipling swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Davis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kipling dives on top into guard.

Davis scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Davis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Kipling. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kipling.

Davis darts in and clinches Kipling up against the cage.
Davis gets through Kipling's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis lands with a right to the head.
Kipling tries to stall but Davis uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kipling tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.
A short body shot lands from Davis as the two fighters clinch.
Kipling misses with some punches.
Davis misses with the head strike.
Davis swings wildly with an uppercut but Kipling uses good head movement to avoid it.
A right hand to the body from Kipling.
Davis misses with a hook from the clinch.
Davis swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Davis.
Davis looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Davis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davis throws a punch but it's blocked by Kipling.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Davis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kiplings head.
Davis is leaning against Kipling and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Davis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kipling.
Kipling looks winded!
Davis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Davis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Davis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kipling backwards.

Kipling is trying to pull guard but Davis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Davis.
Davis works on Kipling's body with a couple of short punches.

Davis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kipling or not.
Davis lands a shoulder strike.
Davis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kiplings head.

Davis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kipling backwards.


Kipling is rocked!
Davis creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kipling's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kipling drops to his knees and Davis pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bungle Davis!
A relieved looking Bungle Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
