The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mac circles away.
Badass misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mac.
The fighters circling - Badass throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

enabling Mac to counter with a crisp jab.
Mac tries to bum rush Badass with a series of wild strikes but Badass uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mac lands with a thumping leg kick.
Badass fails to land with a series of punches.
Mac lands a nice shot to the body.

enabling Mac to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Ray Badass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as Mac lands an impressive looking overhand right. Badass doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mac buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Mac's corner calls for a 1-2. Mac obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Badass ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Badass connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mac momentarily.

Badass dives in for a single leg takedown but Mac sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Badass changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
The crowd cheers as Badass lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mac doesn't seem phased though.
Badass takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Badass changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mac fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Badass rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mac moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Badass scores with a nice right hand.
Badass fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Badass is breathing heavily.
Mac cracks Badass with an open hand slap.
and Mac counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Badass! He's just covering up as Mac starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Mac!
