Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Rage (ranked 376 p4p, 57 weight class) and Sairanix Lokren (ranked 751 p4p, 99 weight class). Rage comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Lokren has chosen Beast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Rage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sairanix Lokren! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokren is looking to clinch. Rage shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rage showed some decent athleticism there. Lokren regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Rage. Rage won't allow Lokren to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lokren is keeping the position for now. Lokren is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rage throws a big right hand that misses. Rage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lokren utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lokren keeping moving, preventing Rage from controlling successfully. Lokren is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lokren looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rage is one step ahead there. Rage throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lokren works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rage throwing strikes but missing. Rage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rage shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rage was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rage looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lokren is avoiding damage well.

Lokren manages to get back to half guard. Rage thows a huge punch but Lokren dodges it nicely.
Rage seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lokren does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rage thumps the canvas. Rage throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lokren avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lokren is looking for a sweep. Rage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rage throws a head kick that misses. Rage looks for a takedown but Lokren sprawls well. A low kick from Rage is predictable there and Rage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rage keeps the fight on the outside. Rage chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lokren moves in looking to clinch but Rage pushes him off. Lokren uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lokren breaks the clinch.

Rage is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lokren can't fight it off and eventually Rage manages to take the fight to the floor. Lokren looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lokren uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lokren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rage finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lokren! But no joy. Lokren misses the shot to the body. Lokren scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rage in his tracks. Lokren tries to clinch but Rage is having none of it. Rage is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lokren can do to turn this around? Rage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lokren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lokren tries to close the distance and clinch but Rage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rage feinted with a counter takedown. Lokren blocks a head kick by Rage.
Sairanix Lokren is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lokren's corner calls for a 1-2. Lokren obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Sloppy strikes from Rage. Those never looked like landing. Rage throws a nice inside leg kick. Rage tries a head kick but it misses.
Rage feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lokrens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lokren checks a leg kick nicely. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lokren, as that shot connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage throws a front kick aimed at Lokren's knee but Lokren avoids it well. Rage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lokren circles away quickly and effectively. Lokren cracks a nice hook into Rage's ribs. Rage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sairanix Lokren seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A shot in the inside from Rage. Lokren gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lokren misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Lokren closes the distance and pushes Rage back into the cage. Lokren stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Lokren blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rage drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lokren gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rage is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lokren pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lokren softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Lokren pulls guard. Jason Rage overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rage's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sairanix Lokren will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Jason Rage's cut. That's time! Rage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Rage lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lokren tries to clinch and Rage counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd cheers as Lokren lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rage doesn't seem phased though. Lokren displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rage throws out the jab. Lokren throws out a counter right but Rage avoids it with no problem. Rage sizes up Lokren with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Lokren fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rage, pushing him back against the cage. Nice body punch from Lokren - that landed with a thud.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lokren! Lokren sneaks out the side door and pushes Rage away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Lokren has Rage up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lokren lands an elbow inside that Rage shrugs off. Rage has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lokren is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lokren creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rage's defenses. Rage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rage. Lokren dodges the ground and pound from Rage. Rage throwing strikes but Lokren manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Lokren just content to control the position. Lokren decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rage to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rage throws a head kick that Lokren semi-blocks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Lokren looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rage went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Rage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lokren on the side of the head. Lokren clinches up with Rage and pushes him back against the cage. Rage tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rage tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Nice elbow from Lokren. Rage avoids the elbow strike from Lokren, against the cage.

Rage tries to bum rush Lokren with a series of wild strikes but Lokren uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lokren closes the distance and pushes Rage back into the cage. Lokren jumps guard and drags Rage to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lokren wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Lokren is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Sairanix Lokren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lokren has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
