Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Ruth (ranked 5143 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizzo Ryte (ranked 7111 p4p, 0 weight class). Rizzo Ryte will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hank Ruth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rizzo Ryte! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruth's waist but Ruth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryte off to one side. Ryte tries for a takedown but Ruth sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ruth seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Ryte closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ruth circles away. Hank Ruth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rizzo Ryte. Ruth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ryte was covering up waiting for the punch and Ruth finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ryte is trying to keep Ruth in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ruth slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ruth definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryte is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryte thows a huge punch but Ruth dodges it nicely.
Ryte seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ruth does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ryte seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ruth is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Rizzo Ryte!
