Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Bang (ranked 914 p4p, 146 weight class) and Antonio Mauricio DeSilva (ranked 2059 p4p, 302 weight class). Antonio Mauricio DeSilva has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Miro Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Mauricio DeSilva!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang throws a leg kick that misses.
DeSilva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
DeSilva throws out a leg kick but Bang moves out of range and DeSilva only half commits.
Bang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

DeSilva throws the kick towards the body but Bang avoids it.
Bang takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
DeSilva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from DeSilva.
DeSilva misses with a low kick.
Bang feinted with a counter takedown.

Bang tries to keep at a distance but DeSilva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bang is looking to take this one to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bang as DeSilva tries to tie him up.
Bang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. DeSilva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bang is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Bang misses with a knee to the head.

Bang pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
DeSilva wants to get back to his feet but Bang is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

DeSilva pushes Bang off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bang shoots in but DeSilva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
DeSilva throws a lazy head kick

and Bang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DeSilva's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
DeSilva is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bang presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bang tries to pull guard but DeSilva holds him up against the cage and eventually Bang drops back down to his feet.

Bang wants to take the fight to the mat but DeSilva manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
DeSilva has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Bang seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if DeSilva can turn it around.

Bang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

DeSilva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bang, pushing him back against the cage.

Bang jumps into guard, dragging DeSilva to the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miro Bang will probably get the nod.

DeSilva lands a big head kick that sends Bang tumbling to the mat! DeSilva takes a step backwards and waves Bang back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Miro Bang has been cut.
DeSilva throws a nice inside leg kick.
Oh Bang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
DeSilva works Bang's body with a nice hook.
DeSilva lands an uppercut, right on the button! Bang tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
