Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Matusov (ranked 2433 p4p, 257 weight class) and David DeCastro (ranked 2596 p4p, 268 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Matusov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David DeCastro! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matusov fails with the takedown and DeCastro counters with a nice uppercut. Matusov shoots for a takedown but DeCastro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Matusov fails to land the takedown. DeCastro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Matusov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boris Matusov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Matusov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. DeCastro did well to prevent Matusov getting side control. Matusov wants to pass the guard but DeCastro is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matusov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. DeCastro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Matusov. DeCastro wants to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if DeCastro can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matusov is keen to just control but DeCastro is a slippery customer. DeCastro pushes Matusov off looking to stand but Matusov dives back in and keeps control.
Matusov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but DeCastro sees it coming and defends easily. Matusov is trying to control the action in half guard but DeCastro is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Matusov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for DeCastro! Matusov trying to control but DeCastro is having none of it. Matusov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but DeCastro manages to avoid the submission attempt. Matusov wants to control but DeCastro is keeping him busy. Matusov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Matusov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Matusov controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matusov is looking to take a break and control but DeCastro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Matusov has knee on belly and moves into mount. DeCastro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matusov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Matusov has hold of DeCastro's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and DeCastro manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Matusov wants to take DeCastro's back here but DeCastro is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Matusov working for a submission but DeCastro is keeping him at bay. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matusov is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but DeCastro is surviving well by controlling Matusov's body position as best he can. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! DeCastro is squirming around, avoiding Matusov's attempts to control the action. Matusov won't let DeCastro get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Matusov is trying to take his opponent's back.
DeCastro defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Matusov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matusov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force DeCastro to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so DeCastro shrugs it off. Matusov tries to control but DeCastro wriggling away. Matusov working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Matusov has isolated one of DeCastro's arms. DeCastro looking to fight him off but Matusov twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
