Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Salieri (ranked 2192 p4p, 256 weight class) and Head Coach (ranked 2464 p4p, 287 weight class). Salieri comes into the arena with DMX - Ain’t No Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Salieri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 23 - 3, fighting out of London, Head Coach! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salieri slips a jab from Coach. Salieri pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Coach with the counter takedown but Salieri avoids it easily. Salieri misses with a lunging right hand
and Coach cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Salieri shoots in for a takedown but Coach shows good takedown defense. Salieri lands a glancing blow to the side of Coach's head. Salieri takes a swing at Coach's ribcage but misses. Coach swats away the attempt to clinch by Salieri. Head Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salieri misses with a wild body shot. A jab from Coach misses. A swing and a miss from Salieri. Salieri defending well as Coach loads up on a big left hand. Salieri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Coach swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Salieri counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A solid leg kick lands there for Salieri.
Salieri throws a front kick aimed at Coach's knee but Coach avoids it well. Coach throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Salieri connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Coach's hands. This has been an exciting period of action! Coach takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Coach! But no joy. Coach pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Salieri misses with a hook. Salieri stuns Coach with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Head Coach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coach throws a hook to the side of Salieri's head but Salieri sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A head kick by Salieri misses and Coach makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've been told by Salieri's head coaches at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Coach throws a looping overhand right but Salieri ducks down to avoid it. Coach throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Salieri sees it coming and avoids it easily. Salieri lands with a right hand. Coach throws a leg kick and Salieri counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coach looks to land a right hand but Salieri moved out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Salieri, as that shot connected.

Coach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Salieri manages to avoid it. That kick from Salieri tenderised Coach's leg. Coach is trying to keep his angry face on.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Salieri is looking to score with low kicks. Salieri lands with a nice combination. Salieri is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Coach throws an elbow but misses. Salieri taking a breather.

Now Salieri has his back to the cage. Salieri lands a body punch in the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Salieri misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Salieri tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Coach's elbow. Salieri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Salieri throws out a loose jab but Coach uses good head movement to avoid it. Salieri cracks Coach with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salieri slows the pace down in half guard. Salieri throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Salieri is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Salieri with the ground and pound but Coach uses the opportunity to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Head Coach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Coach displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salieri. Coach swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Coach ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A big right from Coach misses. Salieri takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Oh Salieri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Salieri throws a leg kick that misses. Salieri seems to have got his legs back now. A big right from Coach misses. Coach bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Salieri! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coach trying to stand up but can't free himself from Salieri's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salieri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Salieri missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nice strikes from Salieri there. Salieri wants to free his trapped foot but Coach is holding on for dear life with his legs. Salieri is looking to take a break and control but Coach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Salieri lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salieri throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Coach to regain full guard. Salieri is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Salieri trying to control the position from guard on top but Coach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salieri is fighting to break Coach's control of his arms but Coach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Salieri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salieri trying to control but Coach is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Coach scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Head Coach seems to be getting the better of the standup. Donk. Coach catches Salieri right on the button with a cross. Salieri throws out a loose jab but Coach uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd cheers as Coach lands an impressive looking overhand right. Salieri doesn't seem phased though. Salieri lands a glancing blow to the side of Coach's head. Coach misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Salieri scores with a nice head shot. Salieri throws a sloppy head kick and Coach moves out of range easily. Coach is looking to land body kicks. Salieri misses with a few strikes there.
Salieri shoots for a takedown but Coach saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Despite the aggression on Coach's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coach drops Salieri with a left and a right! Oh, Salieri is hurt - Coach dives into side control looking to finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Salieri tries to buck Coach off but Coach is having none of it. Coach controlling the position. Coach advances to mount. Salieri is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Head Coach comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Coach has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
