Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Wii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wii has chosen Stronger as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Wii! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson throws a head kick but Wii moves out of range.
Wii moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off. Wii tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wilson fails in his attempt to clinch. Wii tries to clinch up. Wii closes the distance looking to clinch and Wilson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wilson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wilson won't let Wii get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson controlling from mount. Wilson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wii for as long as he can get away with.

Wilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wilson looking to control and managing it successfully. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wilson is taking a breather. Wii says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

"Ole!" shouts Wii as he jumps to the side. Wii tries to clinch but Wilson moves away and Wilson counters with a big head kick but Wii shrugs it off. Wii tries to clinch and Wilson counters by clinching up. Wii lands a damaging elbow. Wii tries to land knees in the clinch but Wilson avoids the damage to the body. James Wilson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wilson slows the pace down in half guard. Luigi Wii has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! James Wilson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
