Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Cobb (ranked 7737 p4p, 151 weight class) and Steve Steward (ranked 6993 p4p, 150 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Steward's choice of entrance music: CFO% - Worlds Apart. Steve Steward has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randall Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Steward! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steward throws a low kick but Cobb moves out of range easily. Cobb lands with a cross.
It looks like Steve Steward has been cut. We've been told by Cobb's head coaches at RWB GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Cobb clobbers Steward with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Steward fakes the leg kick and cracks Cobb in the body. Steve Steward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steward takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cobb keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Steward. Steward changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Steward dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Steward. That's going to slow Cobb down. Steward throws the left hand but Cobb avoids the punch easily. Steward connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cobb avoids the head kick by Steward.
Good exchange - Steward coming out on top. Cobb just misses with a punch to the body.
Steward lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Steward has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Steward throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Steward. Steward looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Cobb.
Cobb rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Steward to counter with a crisp jab. Steward throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steward rushes Cobb and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Steward connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cobb's face.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cobb. Steward utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Cobb tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Cobb misses with a short punch on the inside. Cobb blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Steward misses with a body punch.

Cobb swings wildly with an uppercut but Steward uses good head movement to avoid it. Cobb avoiding damage as Steward throws knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steward connects with a knee to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steward jerks Cobb's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Cobb drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Steward goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Steward because Cobb was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Steve Steward! Steve Steward gave a mention to Thomspon 90% in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
