These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Diktas enables Fulton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diktas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Diktas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fulton is aware though and is defending well.

Diktas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fulton will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fulton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diktas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Diktas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fulton has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fulton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Diktas has got his arm under Fulton's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Fulton has spun round into Diktas's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diktas has his feet on Fulton's thighs here. He's pushed Fulton off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fulton screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
