Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Pounds (ranked 1643 p4p, 159 weight class) and Billy Bolek (ranked 2148 p4p, 185 weight class). Bolek has chosen Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Pounds. That's going to slow Bolek down.
Pounds throws the kick towards the body but Bolek avoids it.
Bolek misses with an uppercut.

Pounds misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pounds clobbers Bolek with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pounds steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bolek.

Pounds throws a leg kick but Bolek sees it coming and moves out of range.

Pounds lands a leg kick that knocks Bolek off balance momentarily.

Bolek uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pounds.
We've been hearing reports that Pounds has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Bolek takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bolek wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pounds manages to pass to side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pounds postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bolek in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bolek to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
