And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheikh Amun Ghosh!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bornholm motions for Ghosh to come forward. Bornholm throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bornholm misses with a wild body shot.
Ghosh misses with a straight left.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ghosh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bornholm throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Ghosh counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Daniel Bornholm has been cut.
Bornholm throws a low kick but Ghosh avoids it.
Bornholm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ghosh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bornholm manages to avoid it.
Bornholm throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ghosh on the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ghosh. Bornholm does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ghosh checks a leg kick nicely.

Bornholm on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ghosh misses with an uppercut. Bornholm saw that one coming.
Bornholm throws the left hand but Ghosh avoids the punch easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

letting Bornholm counter with a right hand.
A head kick misses from Ghosh.
Ghosh throws an overhand right that lands on Bornholm's shoulder, as Bornholm tries to avoid the shot.
Ghosh throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ghosh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bornholm can pounce on him.
Bornholm thuds a left hand into Ghosh's body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ghosh.

Ghosh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Ghosh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bornholm won't be happy with that.

Ghosh wants to take his opponent's back but Bornholm doesn't allow it.
Ghosh is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bornholm has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ghosh wants to control the action but instead Bornholm gets a body lock and reverses into Ghosh's guard! Nice work!
Bornholm got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ghosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bornholm has managed to get both his arms back between Ghosh's legs - danger averted.

Bornholm looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Ghosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bornholm slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ghosh has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bornholm should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ghosh has tightened it up now! Bornholm should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Sheikh Amun Ghosh decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
