Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Midick Aiken (ranked 76 p4p, 4 weight class) and Wamberto Boaz (ranked 55 p4p, 1 weight class). Boaz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Preciso me encontrar. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Midick Aiken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Wamberto Boaz! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aiken fails to land with a series of punches.
Boaz tries to counter with a clinch but Aiken shakes him off and moves away. Boaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The crowd cheers as Boaz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Aiken doesn't seem phased though. Boaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aiken moves away. A jab from Aiken misses. Decent striking displayed by Boaz there. Boaz gets a double leg takedown into Aiken's guard. Boaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aiken swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boaz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boaz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boaz slips nicely into half guard. Aiken is trying to stand up here but Boaz is controlling him well. Boaz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boaz is keen to just control but Aiken is a slippery customer. Boaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Aiken is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Aiken won't allow Boaz to pass to mount. Boaz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aiken has managed to free his arm - good work. Aiken is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boaz is figuring out what he wants to do next. Aiken controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Aiken won't allow Boaz to pass to mount. Aiken is looking to escape. Boaz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Aiken sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Boaz moves nicely into side control. Aiken struggling a bit here. Boaz trying to control the action but Aiken is working from the bottom. Aiken stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Boaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aiken keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Boaz works to advance to full mount. Aiken defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aiken is looking to improve his position but Boaz isn't that keen on the idea. Aiken just holding on. Aiken wants to hold on but Boaz pushes him away. Boaz wants to take his opponent's back but Aiken doesn't allow it. Aiken is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Aiken is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Boaz has taken his back.
You can see the frustration on Aiken's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aiken is keeping busy.
Aiken is trying to get back to his feet but Boaz has full control of the position and if anything, Aiken has just worked his way into a worse spot. Aiken is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Aiken just trying to survive but Boaz is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, with Boaz on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Aiken is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Aiken prevents Boaz from getting a body triangle. Aiken defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Aiken is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wamberto Boaz dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Aiken stuffs the takedown. We've been told by Aiken's head coaches at Little Lebowski Urban Achievers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Boaz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Aiken.
Aiken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boaz moves away. Boaz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Aiken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boaz blocks a body shot from Aiken. Aiken misses with a body punch.
Aiken misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Aiken fails to land. Boaz is looking for a takedown. Aiken lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aiken misses with a body punch.
Boaz breaks the clinch.
A big left from Aiken misses. A lazy left from Aiken finds it's target. Wamberto Boaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aiken throws a sloppy body shot
and Boaz counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boaz throws a big shot that misses. Boaz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Boaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Aiken throws out the jab. Aiken moves out of range as Boaz strikes. Aiken tried to counter with a leg kick but Boaz avoided it. Boaz misses with a body punch
and Aiken counters with a nice low kick that buckles Boaz's knee momentarily. Aiken slips a jab and a cross from Boaz.
A telegraphed right hand from Boaz misses the target. An attempted straight right counter from Aiken misses the target. Boaz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Boaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Aiken misses the shot to the body. Boaz swings away with a body shot that misses
and Aiken counters with a right hand to the body. Aiken throws a half hearted mid kick. Aiken defending well as Boaz loads up on a big left hand. Boaz swings and misses with a shot to the body and Aiken connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boaz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aiken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boaz.
Boaz moves to clinch but Aiken breaks away and Aiken counters with a low kick, right behind Boaz 's knee. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aiken looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Aiken counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Aiken displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boaz throws out the jab. An attempted straight right counter from Aiken misses the target. A slow jab from Aiken misses its intended target. Boaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Aiken. Boaz lands a right hook to the body.
Boaz jabs Aiken to the body, keeping him at a distance. Boaz misses with a wild body shot. A big right from Aiken misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aiken throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Aiken takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Boaz throws a body punch but Aiken moves out of range. Nice straight punches there by Boaz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boaz. Aiken swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boaz loads up on a big right hand but Aiken slips the punch. Aiken shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Boaz with a jab. Boaz looks to score with a jab to the body but Aiken is just out of range. A little feinted left hand from Aiken on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Aiken misses the shot to the body. Aiken tried to score with a low kick but Boaz checks it. Boaz lands a slapping body shot.
Wamberto Boaz seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aiken slips a straight right by Boaz. A shot to the body from Boaz misses and Aiken counters with a lovely straight right hand! Aiken stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Aiken. Aiken appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Boaz lunges at Aiken with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Aiken's hand. Boaz swings for the body but Aiken moves out of range.
Aiken throws a hook but Boaz blocks it. Aiken darts in trying to clinch and Boaz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Aiken manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Boaz keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Boaz as Aiken tries to tie him up. Good body shot from Aiken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Midick Aiken will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boaz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Boaz is trying to control. Aiken wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Aiken is trying to stand back up but Boaz is controlling him

Boaz is trying to control the action in half guard but Aiken is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Aiken is looking to get back to is feet but Boaz passes into side control.
Aiken tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aiken manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Aiken wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boaz is pressing down on Aiken's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Boaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boaz has his feet on Aiken's thighs here. He's pushed Aiken off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Aiken screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Wamberto Boaz! A very excited looking Wamberto Boaz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
