Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rei Reizawa (ranked 5936 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Brodzik (ranked 5798 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rei Reizawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tomasz Brodzik! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reizawa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brodzik is trying to defend but Reizawa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Reizawa wants to control but Brodzik is keeping him busy. Reizawa winds up and cracks Brodzik with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Reizawa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Brodzik blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reizawa. Reizawa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Brodzik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reizawa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Reizawa throwing shots but Brodzik is blocking nicely. Brodzik is looking for a sweep. Reizawa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reizawa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Brodzik is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Reizawa wants to control but Brodzik is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Reizawa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Reizawa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brodzik can do anything to dispel that myth. Brodzik tries to get to full guard but Reizawa has control of the leg. Brodzik wants to get back to full guard but Reizawa has mounted him! Reizawa looking to control and managing it successfully. Reizawa lands a nice shot to the head. Brodzik tries to lock up and control but Reizawa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Reizawa controlling from mount. Brodzik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reizawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brodzik prevents any damage by holding on tight. Reizawa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Reizawa scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Brodzik?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brodzik is desperately trying to improve his position but Reizawa has a good base and remains in mount. Reizawa fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Brodzik is rocked! Reizawa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reizawa is landing with some decent strikes but Brodzik is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Brodzik is still in real trouble! Can Reizawa finish him? Reizawa cracks Brodzik with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rei Reizawa!
