Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curt Dallas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas slaps away a takedown attempt from Bentley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A countering left hand to the body from Dallas misses.
A punch combination from Bentley misses.
Dallas is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dallas tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - Dallas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bentley attempts a counter takedown but Dallas avoids it well and moves away.
Bentley throws a series of punches but Dallas avoids them all with ease.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horrible takedown attempt by Dallas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bentley, which made it look bad.
Bentley tries to land a front kick but Dallas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dallas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bentley finds it's way round the side to connect with Dallas's head.

Dallas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dallas wants it to stay on the feet.

Dallas wants to counter with a clinch but Bentley pushes him away.
Bentley misses with a takedown attempt - Dallas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A nice side step and Dallas releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bentley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bentley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dallas circles away quickly and effectively.

Bentley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dallas's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dallas tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bentley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bentley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Troy Bentley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curt Dallas.

Bentley closes the distance and clinches.

Bentley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice body kick there by Dallas.
Bentley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bentley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dallas.

Bentley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bentley gets to his feet. Dallas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dallas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bentley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dallas enables Bentley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dallas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dallas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bentley manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bentley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


A slapping body kick lands there for Dallas.
Dallas dives in for a single leg takedown but Bentley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Curt Dallas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bentley lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bentley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dallas looks to clinch
and Dallas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bentley checks a leg kick.
Bentley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Dallas moves away from the strike by Bentley.

Dallas shoots in but no luck this time.
Bentley throws a series of punches but Dallas avoids them all with ease.
Dallas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bentley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bentley slips a nice elbow through Dallas's hands, connecting with Dallas's forehead.
Bentley is nestled in close to Dallas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dallas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bentley defends well and Dallas ends up having to push Bentley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
