Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toine lands a left and a right that send Vasquez crashing to the mat, dazed. Toine thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Antony Vasquez has been cut.
A big left from Toine misses.
Vasquez jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Toine tries a head kick but it misses.
Toine rushes Vasquez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Toine pulls guard successfully.
Toine throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Vasquez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toine on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasquez won't allow Toine to sweep him here.
Toine is adopting a defensive guard.
Vasquez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Toine looking to control but Vasquez passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vasquez stops Toine from getting back to his feet.
Vasquez is thwarting Toine's attempts to control the position.
Toine manages to get to full guard.
Toine being controlled here, momentarily.
Vasquez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vasquez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Toine to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vasquez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Toine pulls down on the head and he's put Vasquez to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ze Toine!
