Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nando closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanchez did well to prevent Nando getting side control.

Let's hope that Nando has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nando wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is defending well.

Nando takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sanchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Nando is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nando is taking a breather. Sanchez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nando moves into range and clinches up with Sanchez.
Nando decides to pull guard.

Nando has his foot on Sanchez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanchez works his way back into a safe position though.
Nando pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nando has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Nando's legs - danger averted.

Nando is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Nando's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Sanchez gets tackled into the cage by Nando. Nando maintains the clinch.
Sanchez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nando prevents it.
Nando wants the takedown. Sanchez is fighting it off but Nando persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sanchez's guard against the cage.
Nando slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Nando stands up and waves to Sanchez to follow him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sanchez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nando to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nando is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanchez is just riding it out for now. Nando eventually gives up the hold.

Sanchez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Nando isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sanchez stacks Nando on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sanchez!
Nando is trying to control Sanchez's posture but Sanchez avoids it.
Nando regains half guard, as Sanchez was trying to land strikes.

Nando has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nando is looking to improve his position.
Nando is controlling Sanchez's trapped leg to prevent Sanchez from advancing to side control.
Sanchez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Nando wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy.

Nando might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sanchez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Nando has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nando tightens his grip and picks Sanchez up, before dumping him to the ground. Sanchez manages to land in guard.
Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but Nando passes into half guard.
Sanchez wants to improve his position but Nando is controlling well.
Sanchez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nando is working away from the top position though.

I would just about give that final round to Ze Nando.
Well Nando has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
