Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arron Monroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jenson McIntyre !
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe stuffs the takedown.
Monroe tries to counter by clinching up but McIntyre breaks away and moves out of range.

Monroe drives through with a takedown into McIntyre 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Monroe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McIntyre uses from the top position.
Monroe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Monroe thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

McIntyre wants to get up but he can't break Monroe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

McIntyre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

McIntyre tries to stand but Monroe is controlling from the bottom.
Monroe wants to control the position but McIntyre says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Monroe is controlling McIntyre 's trapped leg to prevent McIntyre from advancing to side control.

McIntyre leaves Monroe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McIntyre tries to close the distance and clinch but Monroe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jenson McIntyre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

McIntyre tries to lock up and control but Monroe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
