The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Weatherman does no damage.
Salama tries to bum rush Weatherman with a series of wild strikes but Weatherman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Weatherman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
J Walter Weatherman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weatherman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Weatherman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Salama counter with a right hand.
Salama lands a with a good body shot.
Weatherman throws a combination that misses
and Salama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Weatherman misses with a combination
and Salama counters with a left and a right that stings Weatherman.
Weatherman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Weatherman is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Salama is hurt! He's hurt bad - Weatherman fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Salama from any more punishment! Congratulations to Weatherman! Great finish!
