Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacer Dalton (ranked 2823 p4p, 389 weight class) and Lukasz Patryk (ranked 4812 p4p, 540 weight class). Lukasz Patryk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacer Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lukasz Patryk!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patryk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pacer Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patryk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dalton sprawls well. Dalton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Patryk gets slowly back to his feet.
Dalton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Patryk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Patryk is letting Dalton control him for a moment.
Patryk tries to bench press Dalton off him but Dalton keeps the position.
Dalton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Dalton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Patryk is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Patryk is trying to escape the position but Dalton is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dalton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Patryk for as long as he can get away with.
You can see the frustration on Patryk's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Patryk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Dalton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dalton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Patryk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dalton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Patryk.

Patryk thows a huge punch but Dalton dodges it nicely.
Dalton is positioning himself well to prevent Patryk advancing to mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dalton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Patryk's guard.

Dalton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Patryk's guard.

Pacer Dalton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Patryk is trying to stand up here but Dalton is controlling him well.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dalton is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Patryk reverses the position - he's now on top in Dalton's guard.

Dalton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dalton in particular looking to stall.

Patryk wants to improve his position but Dalton is controlling well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pacer Dalton will probably get the nod.

Dalton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Patryk was covering up waiting for the punch and Dalton finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dalton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Patryk can do to turn this around?

Dalton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dalton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
