Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Noir (ranked 3662 p4p, 427 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 6441 p4p, 586 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir jabbing away but nothing is landing.
St George drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Noir defends it well.
St George uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Noir.
Noir misses with a hook. St George ducked under it nicely.

Noir takes a swing at St George's ribcage but misses.

Noir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
St George has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Noir is working away from the top position though.
