Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bangsit (ranked 1287 p4p, 203 weight class) and Jari Bull (ranked 1883 p4p, 289 weight class). Jari Bull has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jari Bull!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull looks to throw the jab but Bangsit is out of range.
Bangsit keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bull.
Bull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bangsit moves away.
Bull lands a jab to the head.
Bull fails to land with a series of punches.
Bull throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bangsit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bull.
Bangsit attempts a counter takedown but Bull avoids it well and moves away.
Bull dips to his left and cracks Bangsit with an uppercut!

Bull has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bull is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bangsit had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bangsit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
