Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Morueco (ranked 2636 p4p, 344 weight class) and Arjen Lucassen (ranked 6685 p4p, 587 weight class). Morueco comes to the cage accompanied by The Pretender. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucassen ducks under a wild hook from Morueco.
Lucassen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Morueco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morueco takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Morueco bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lucassen's head backwards.
Morueco swings for the body but Lucassen moves out of range.
Morueco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Morueco is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lucassen is just riding it out for now. Morueco eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morueco isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lucassen stacks Morueco on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lucassen!

Morueco moves out of range as Lucassen strikes.
Morueco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Arjen Lucassen seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Lucassen just misses with a punch to the body.
Morueco catches Lucassen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Morueco cracks Lucassen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lucassen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lucassen missing with a left hand there. Morueco was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Arjen Lucassen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
