Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Talon Cape!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Naseeruddin Shah!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cape throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shah looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cape throws a head kick but Shah moves out of range.
Shah steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Cape.
Donk. Cape catches Shah right on the button with a cross.
An inside leg kick lands from Cape.
Cape looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cape moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Cape tests Shah's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cape scores with a punch to the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cape connects with a leg kick. Shah looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Shah has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cape finds it's way round the side to connect with Shah's head.
Cape stalks Shah and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shah's face. Shah staggers backwards, shaken.
Shah stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cape.

Cape clinches.
Shah is trying to pull guard but Cape turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cape definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cape has Shah pushed against the cage.
A body shot lands from Cape.
Cape taking a breather.
Shah tries to pull guard but Cape won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cape landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Shah tries to pull guard but Cape forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Talon Cape has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naseeruddin Shah.
Cape lands an elbow just above Shah 's eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cape lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Cape just leaning against Shah, taking a breather.
Cape lands a shot to the body.
Cape lands a nice elbow.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cape takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Cape obliges.
Cape leaning his opponent against the cage.
Cape stalling in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Talon Cape dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Cape lands a head kick!
Cape bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cape jabs Shah to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cape scoring well with a low kick there.
Shah on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cape really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cape lands a slapping body shot.
Talon Cape is winning the standup battle so far.
Shah takes a kick to the side of the head.


Shah is rocked!
Cape chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shah is still on wobbly legs! Can Cape finish him?
Crack! A monster head kick from Cape and Shah falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Cape!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Talon Cape!
An out of breath Talon Cape thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
