Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Valerio Bartoli (ranked 1703 p4p, 198 weight class) and Dante Fiaschi (ranked 3142 p4p, 333 weight class). Bartoli comes to the cage accompanied by Modulate - Bass Alert. Fiaschi has chosen ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiaschi moves in looking to clinch but Bartoli pushes him off.
Bartoli takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Fiaschi takes the fight into the clinch.
Bartoli presses Fiaschi against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Fiaschi lands a nice uppercut.
Bartoli pushes Fiaschi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bartoli's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bartoli blocks a punch to the side of the head.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fiaschi.
Fiaschi throws a punch but it's blocked by Bartoli.

Bartoli breaks from the clinch.
Fiaschi doesn't manage to clinch there - Bartoli circles away.
Bartoli moves away from the strike by Fiaschi.

Fiaschi throws a looping overhand right but Bartoli ducks down to avoid it.
Fiaschi throws a sloppy body shot
and Bartoli counters with a nice leg kick.
Bartoli tries a head kick but it misses.
Fiaschi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bartoli throws a lazy head kick
and Fiaschi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A shot to the body from Fiaschi misses
and Bartoli counters with an outside leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fiaschi.
We've been told by Bartoli's head coaches at AK Beasties that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bartoli misses with a low kick.

Fiaschi closes the distance and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Bartoli scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fiaschi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fiaschi has a couple of punches blocked by Bartoli.
Bartoli lands with a right to the head.
Bartoli softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Bartoli lands with a light punch inside.
Fiaschi can't find room to land a body shot as Bartoli controls the action.
Fiaschi gets through Bartoli's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Bartoli manages to break the clinch.
Fiaschi misses with a looping right.
Bartoli displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fiaschi throws out the jab.
Bartoli tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fiaschi tries to clinch up but Bartoli circles away and keeps his distance.
Fiaschi drops his hands momentarily and Bartoli takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Bartoli counters with a stiff right hand.

Fiaschi is rocked!
Fiaschi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bartoli counters with a huge left! Fiaschi is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bartoli isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fiaschi from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bartoli!
