Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leo Kovarov (ranked 4055 p4p, 214 weight class) and Vince Foster (ranked 3083 p4p, 172 weight class). Leo Kovarov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leo Kovarov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Foster! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovarov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kovarov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Foster tries to keep at a distance but Kovarov has taken the fight into the clinch. Foster fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Foster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vince Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kovarov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Foster tries to clinch up. The fight moves into the clinch position. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Foster. Kovarov blocks an elbow strike. Foster misses with a short punch on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kovarov. A short uppercut from Foster. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Foster. Foster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kovarov is looking to land body kicks. Foster clinches up with Kovarov and pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster lands with a right to the head. Foster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Foster has taken the fight to the clinch.
Foster throws a punch but it's blocked by Kovarov. Kovarov is looking to take this one to the mat. Foster scores with an uppercut up the middle. Foster misses with the head strike.

Foster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Foster is looking to clinch but Kovarov is avoiding it.
Foster wants to clinch. Kovarov dives in and grabs Foster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes down on Kovarov's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Kovarov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Foster tries to clinch up but Kovarov circles away and keeps his distance. As Foster looks to move away, Kovarov throws a big counter combo but Foster just gets out of the way. Foster tries to clinch up but Kovarov circles away and keeps his distance. Foster moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kovarov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Foster to the mat. Foster regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Foster is looking to stand back up but Kovarov counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Foster. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Foster wants to get back to his feet.
Kovarov winds up and cracks Foster with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kovarov not doing much here.
Kovarov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kovarov prevents Foster from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster pushes Kovarov off, looking to escape but Kovarov dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Foster is forced to tap! The fight is over!
