Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darryl Hayes (ranked 24881 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farah Khan (ranked 7085 p4p, 0 weight class). Farah Khan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darryl Hayes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Farah Khan! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan shoots in looking for a takedown but Hayes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hayes tries to counter by clinching up but Khan breaks away and moves out of range. Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayes tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayes to the ground. Hayes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Khan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hayes as he jumps to the side. Darryl Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Farah Khan. Khan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hayes swivels and escapes. As Khan looks to move away, Hayes throws a big counter combo but Khan just gets out of the way. Khan instigates a clinch. Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Khan avoids the head kick by Hayes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hayes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hayes wants it to stay on the feet. Hayes throws a big counter combination but Khan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Hayes misses with a takedown attempt and Khan counters with a series of strikes. Hayes will be more careful next time no doubt. Khan has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Khan tries to work over Hayes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hayes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hayes dives in for a single leg takedown but Khan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Khan is looking to clinch. Hayes is looking to counter the offense by Khan and move into the clinch. Hayes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hayes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Khan sees it coming and defends easily. Hayes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hayes scoring with strikes to the body and head. Khan trying to control but Hayes postures up.
Hayes not landing any meaningful shots this time. Khan tries to roll over but Hayes keeps him under control. Hayes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Khan defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan manages to get to full guard.
Hayes controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hayes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khan's head. Hayes's corner is telling him to maintain position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hayes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Khan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Khan shoots in and drives through. Hayes sprawls well. Khan shoots for a double leg takedown but Hayes sprawls well. He's pushed Khan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hayes closes the distance and clinches. Khan tries a body shot but Hayes blocks it.
Hayes is trying to break the clinch but Khan is controlling him. Hayes is trying to push Khan away but Khan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Khan misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khan is pushing Hayes up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Hayes working hard to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Darryl Hayes will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Khan moves in looking to clinch but Hayes pushes him off. Hayes half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Khan clinches with his opponent.
Khan keeps control of Hayes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Khan lands a nice knee to the body. Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hayes breaks the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Khan. A quick step to the side and Hayes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Hayes drops down looking for a counter takedown but Khan sprawls and moves away. Darryl Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Farah Khan. Khan is breathing heavily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Khan taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Hayes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khan has him pressed against the cage. Khan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hayes's efforts to push away. Khan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Hayes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Khan looks to land a combination but Hayes avoids it well. Farah Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan throws a head kick that misses and Hayes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Khan won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khan struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hayes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hayes lands some shots froms side control. Hayes is trying to get an arm triangle but Khan is defending well. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Khan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Khan is still trying to improve position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Farah Khan will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Hayes stuffs the takedown attempt from Khan. Khan gets slowly back to his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Hayes or perhaps it was just good defense by Khan, which made it look bad. Khan gets caught napping as Hayes dives in and scores a takedown. Khan manages to retain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hayes is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hayes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hayes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khan's head. Hayes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hayes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Khan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Khan has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayes wants to sweep here but Khan controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Farah Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Khan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
