Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lamont Banner (ranked 2008 p4p, 239 weight class) and Carson Wood (ranked 2346 p4p, 281 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner throws a nice looking combination but Wood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wood misses with a left hand
and Banner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wood moves out of range of the body kick.
We've been told by Banner 's head coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Banner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Banner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wood backwards.
Banner creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wood with a big uppercut! Wood tries to clinch up but Banner pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wood to the mat! Wood covers up and Banner unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
