Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Zuniga (ranked 5753 p4p, 573 weight class) and Antoine Pierre (ranked 1904 p4p, 287 weight class). Zuniga comes to the ring accompanied by Rap Devil-MGK. Antoine Pierre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Zuniga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antoine Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuniga just misses with a punch to the body.
Antoine Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierre drives through and clinches with Zuniga against the ropes.
Pierre ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pierre no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zuniga trying to control the position from guard on top but Pierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zuniga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zuniga manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pierre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zuniga defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zuniga stands up over Pierre, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've been hearing that Zuniga has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

After the fight, Antoine Pierre was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Alex Zuniga had this to say: 'I will be back and fucky everybody...'.
