Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fletcher Weber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Clinton Morris! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morris is defended easily by Weber. The fight stays on the outside here - Weber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Weber tries for a takedown but Morris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Morris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morris throws a sloppy head kick and Weber moves out of range easily. Morris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fletcher Weber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clinton Morris. Weber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morris, pushing him back against the cage. Morris jumps guard but Weber turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Weber is looking for a takedown. Weber is trying to push Morris away but Morris has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morris looking to slow down the pace here. Morris tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Weber just stands there and leans against the cage. Weber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Weber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Weber is trying to control the position but Morris postures up. Weber keeping full guard, as Morris tries to pass. Weber is controlling Morris's posture. The fighters are working up against the cage. Weber manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Morris lands a left hand that snaps the head of Weber backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Weber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Morris missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Morris looking to pass the guard. Weber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Morris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Morris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Weber looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Weber looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Weber! Weber gets to mount! Morris was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morris is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Morris wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Weber biding his time, looking for the opening.
Morris just trying to survive but Weber is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weber controls the position. Weber gets his hands free as Morris looks to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fletcher Weber dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Morris shoots in for a takedown but Weber shows good takedown defense. Morris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weber swivels and escapes. Morris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weber tries to avoid it but Morris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weber to the ground. Weber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fletcher Weber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clinton Morris. Weber stuffs the takedown. Morris has closed the distance and engaged Weber in a clinch.
Weber successfully pulls guard.
Weber wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris looking to sit in guard and control but Weber gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Weber keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Morris's head. Weber is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weber is pushing down on Morris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morris is fighting to maintain full guard but Weber has managed to sneak the leg through. Weber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Weber working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Weber slips a nice elbow through Morris's hands, connecting with Morris's forehead. Weber sitting and controlling from the half guard. Morris is looking to improve his position.
Morris is breathing heavily. Weber controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Weber is working for a kimura but Morris is defending it quite comfortably.
Weber takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Weber is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morris can do to turn this around? Morris forces Weber back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morris has Weber pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Weber manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Weber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morris cracks Weber with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Weber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Weber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morris to the mat! Morris manages to get full guard. Morris wriggles free and stands up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morris clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fletcher Weber dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Weber stuffs the takedown attempt from Morris. Morris gets slowly back to his feet. Weber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Weber closes the distance and clinches. Weber keeps control of Morris as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Weber is trying to pull guard but Morris has him pressed against the cage. Weber wants to break the clinch but can't.
Morris is trying to force a seperation but Weber has the dominant position. Morris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morris goes for a double leg but Weber avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Weber continues to drive forward. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weber clinches with his opponent.
Weber is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Morris can't fight it off and eventually Weber manages to take the fight to the floor. Morris looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Weber wants to stand but Morris has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Weber prevents Morris from getting back to his feet. Morris working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Weber slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Morris. Weber working over Morris with some ground and pound. Morris looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Weber stops Morris from getting back to his feet.
Weber is taking a breather. Morris says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Fletcher Weber showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Weber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
