Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kusal Perera (ranked 21251 p4p, 223 weight class) and Scott Parker (ranked 2910 p4p, 142 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kusal Perera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Parker! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Perera. That did some damage! A nice inside leg kick there by Parker. That's going to slow Perera down. Perera walks into a straight right hand from Parker. Nice body kick from Parker. Parker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Perera counters with a good, hard body kick but Parker shrugs it off. Parker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Parker jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Parker's coach down at Unicorn Powered Fighting V2 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perera quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Parker lands a right hook to the body.
Scott Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Perera.
It looks like Scott Parker has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perera throws a right and a left that both miss. Parker slips a straight right by Perera. Perera on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Parker misses with a hook
and Perera counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Perera takes one to the chin there. Parker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Parker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Parker misses with a wild body shot. Perera throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perera lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perera blocks the body kick.
It looked like Perera wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Parker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Parker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Perera appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perera takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Perera misses with a lunging right hand
and Parker counters with a slapping leg kick. Parker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Parker misses with a low kick. Nice shot lands for Parker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perera throws an off balance right hand
and Parker counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've been told by Perera's head coaches at Gym Boiks that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Parker tests Perera's chin there with a solid looking shot. Parker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. and Perera counters with a nice body shot. Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Perera throws a push kick but Parker slaps the foot to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker cracks Perera with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Perera had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Nice defenses there by Parker. Parker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Parker scores with a leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Parker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Boom! Parker lands a massive head kick that sends Perera crashing into the ropes, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Parker is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Scott Parker!
