Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarod Lloyd (ranked 7905 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murkowski Zvalsvic (ranked 6743 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarod Lloyd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jarod Lloyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Murkowski Zvalsvic! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zvalsvic misses with a wild combination.
Zvalsvic throws a body punch but Lloyd moves out of range. Zvalsvic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lloyd is trying to defend but Zvalsvic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lloyd tries to roll over but Zvalsvic keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zvalsvic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zvalsvic not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zvalsvic scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lloyd has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Zvalsvic is on him like a limpet, forcing Lloyd back against the cage. Lloyd tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zvalsvic just stands there and leans against the cage. Zvalsvic throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Lloyd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lloyd keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lloyd tries to keep at a distance but Zvalsvic has taken the fight into the clinch. Lloyd successfully pulls guard.
Lloyd has a closed guard, preventing Zvalsvic from standing up. Lloyd will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lloyd seems keen to control Zvalsvic's posture. Lloyd being controlled here, momentarily. Zvalsvic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lloyd is keeping the position for now. Zvalsvic wants to control from the top but Lloyd keeps moving. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Zvalsvic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zvalsvic clinches. Zvalsvic has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lloyd uses from the top position. Lloyd avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lloyd's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zvalsvic pulls Lloyd in close to his closed guard and prevents Lloyd from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murkowski Zvalsvic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Zvalsvic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Zvalsvic. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lloyd holds on and takes a little breather. Lloyd is trying to control the position but Zvalsvic postures up. Zvalsvic with a flurry of punches that miss. Zvalsvic trying to control the position from guard on top but Lloyd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zvalsvic fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zvalsvic has managed to clinch.
Lloyd wants to take the fight to the mat but Zvalsvic manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Lloyd jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zvalsvic walks away with a smile on his face. Lloyd gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Murkowski Zvalsvic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zvalsvic gets a clinch. Zvalsvic gets control of Lloyd's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zvalsvic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lloyd stands up and waves to Zvalsvic to follow him. Lloyd clinches with his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lloyd stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lloyd tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Zvalsvic fails with a takedown attempt. Jarod Lloyd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murkowski Zvalsvic. Zvalsvic is breathing heavily. Zvalsvic fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Zvalsvic darts in and clinches Lloyd up against the cage. Lloyd looking for a takedown. Zvalsvic pulls guard successfully.

Zvalsvic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lloyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lloyd drops back looking for a leg! Zvalsvic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zvalsvic manages to kick Lloyd off! Lloyd jumps back into Zvalsvic's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zvalsvic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lloyd is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murkowski Zvalsvic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lloyd looking for a sweep. Not yet Lloyd, not yet. Lloyd wants to get back to his feet but Zvalsvic is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zvalsvic throws a big elbow that misses. Lloyd manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zvalsvic drives through and clinches with Lloyd against the cage.

Zvalsvic has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lloyd after a bit of a struggle. Zvalsvic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zvalsvic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lloyd throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zvalsvic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lloyd lands a jab to the nose. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zvalsvic fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jarod Lloyd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Murkowski Zvalsvic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lloyd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Murkowski Zvalsvic. Well Zvalsvic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
