These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Caesar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Moody!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar tries to bum rush Moody with a series of wild strikes but Moody uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Moody looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Moody throws an overhand right that lands on Caesar's shoulder, as Caesar tries to avoid the shot.
Moody blocks a jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moody! But no joy.
Julius Caesar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caesar cracks Moody with a right hand to the side of the head.
Moody displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caesar throws out the jab.
Caesar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Moody looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A slow jab from Caesar misses its intended target.
Caesar with a hook.
Caesar throws the left hand but Moody avoids the punch easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moody! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some wild striking there from Caesar.
Moody throws out a counter right but Caesar avoids it with no problem.
Caesar jabs Moody to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moody misses with a few strikes there.
Caesar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Caesar loads up on a big right hand but Moody slips the punch.
Moody swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moody throws a jab but it's blocked by Caesar.
Caesar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moody has time to react.
Moody avoids the body shot from Caesar.
Moody staying out of range there.
Caesar getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


Moody is rocked!
Caesar measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Moody! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Julius Caesar!
